Serenata works through weekend rehearsals aligned with performances to ensure maximum availability of members for all their engagements. Rehearsals are held in Swaffham Prior Village Hall, a beautiful large hall just off the A14 and relatively convenient for most areas of the east of England. A feature of the choir is their social connections; rehearsals often include a bring-and-share lunch ensuring time for social engagement as well as great music making.
Serenata includes sopranos, mezzo-sopranos and contraltos. Although Serenata has a core of twenty or so experienced singers covering all generations, we are happy to welcome new members.
