Our most recent concert was at How Hill, Ludham on Saturday 12th April at 3pm.
Set within the magical setting of How Hill, the concert offered a teatime treat of songs exploring aspects of love from across the centuries. With songs to tug at your heart strings, expressing a range of emotions from the magic of love at first sight to the wonders of love that endures; from the pathos of lonely and broken hearts to the joys of love regained. Since the course of true love does not always run smoothly, we also navigate the rocky roads in between as we wash that man right out of our hair.
Encompassing composers including Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Bernstein, Sherwin, Rutter, Lennon & McCartney, Lerner, amongst others.
Our programme includes: My Funny Valentine, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Killing me Softly With His Song, Isn’t It Romantic, One Hand, One Heart, The Way You Look Tonight, Let’s Do It, Let’s Fall In Love, Yesterday,
And many more …
